Today in Tech: Apple announces the iPhone SE

And it is out.

The small form factor is not out of the race. Says Apple.

The Cupertino-based company has just unveiled the iPhone SE, a 4-inch model that definitely makes you remember a familiar model — the iPhone 5S.

While battling issues with government on customer data and other companiy initiatives, the new release of a new model pushed through, together with a new iPad (Pro) and the price drop for the Apple Watch ($299 price tag now).

The iPhone SE will have a 64-bit A9 processor and M9 motion coprocessor, and this would make this model the “iPhone 5S with the 6S internals“. This makes the phone keep up with modern-day demands of the smartphone user.

The iPad Pro will cost $599, $749, or $899 for 32GB, 128GB, or 256GB storage sizes. There will also be a $1,099 iPad Pro version with a 12.9 inch display and 256GB of storage space.

The iPhone SE will cost $399 for a 16GB and $499 for a 64GB model. You can also buy it for $17 a month. It will be available in over 110 countries by the end of May; pre-orders for the iPhonw SE starts on March 24.
